An Evening with Andy Squyres, special guest Ben Strawn (with pre-show meal)
About Andy Squyres
Andy Squyres was born and raised on the coast of Northern California but for the last two decades has made his home in Charlotte North Carolina where he and his wife Amy help lead the community of Queen City Church. In 2015 he released the critically acclaimed album "Cherry Blossoms" which tells the true story of a murder, it's aftermath and the relentless power of resurrection. He is a songwriter cut from the same vein of gold as his heroes Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, and Rich Mullins and like them he is attempting to tell the truth as best as he can. Besides his wife and children his favorite thing in the world is to go fishing forlarge mouth bass.
About Ben Strawn
Cleveland, TN based songwriter, Ben Strawn, began his journey into songwriting 6 years ago as a college freshman. After cutting his teeth in the Chattanooga songwriting community and releasing his EP, "At Sunset", in 2017, Ben began pulling from current influences such as The Paper Kites, Death Cab for Cutie and Ryan Adams to really come into his own as an artist. Blending acoustic guitars, 80s synthesizers, and a quiet yet powerful voice, Ben has just released his brand new album See in Color with the help of Daniel Nelson at La Blanca Studios.
