When treating the bereaved many ethical questions can arise. This workshop will address a multitude of concerns including assessment and treatment, multicultural considerations, self-awareness and death anxiety, and social justice issues.

Objectives:

  • Learn appropriate assessment tools and treatment methods to approach grieving clients
  • Discuss multicultural considerations within the context of bereavement
  • Address self-awareness and death anxiety while working with the bereaved 
  • Explore social justice issues for mourners

Our workshops have been reviewed and approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, LPC/LMFT Licensing Board and the State of Oklahoma Board of Licensed Social Workers (provider #20180014). All ticket sales are final. When requested in advance, ticket purchase price may be used toward attendance at another training event in the same calendar year if available.
