Eric Lindbloom’s photographs are primarily black and white landscapes. His exhibition and publishing career now reaches over forty years. He’s had over thirty solo exhibitions of his photographs, including those in New York, Woodstock, Toronto, and Provincetown. Five books of his work have been published: two monographs, Angels at the Arno (Godine, 1994) and Salt Grass (Lodima, 2008), and three limited edition fine press books: The River That Runs Two Ways (2000), Diana In Sight (2009), and Waves (2014), all in collaboration with poet Nancy Willard, and artists Michele Burgess and Bill Kelly of Brighton Press. Original prints of his photographs are in a number of public collections, including the New York Public Library, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Library of Congress, and the Alinari Museum in Florence.
Lindbloom's wife, writer Nancy Willard, who died in 2017, taught at Vassar for forty seven years.
