The Office of Engaged Scholarship & Learning is here to help you find opportunities to apply your skills and knowledge in the real world so that when you walk across the stage at graduation, you are ready to take the next step. Get #EngagedUTRGV!

The Engaged Scholar Institute provides the opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in interactive, interdisciplinary sessions to get started with research or creative works projects and refine existing projects.

**Please note the Engaged Scholar Institute will take place on the following days: 

• Friday, November 15, 2019 on BROWNSVILLE campus BSTUN 2.36

• Friday, November 22, 2019 on EDINBURG campus EDBCX (Ballroom)

Check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m. Sessions begin at 9:30 a.m.

What will be provided:

• Undergraduate student workshops led by UTRGV faculty members, staff, and department representatives.

• Certificate of completion for participants who attend all sessions on one day.

• FREE Light Breakfast.

• FREE Lunch.

• Participants who attend one full day will be entered in drawing for prizes!
