Engage Cincinnati 2020 offers fresh, inspiring, insights and interactions with proven leaders across various fields and organizations. Guest can register to attend two/40 minute sessions, from the six presentations offered.

Speaker Bio

Mark Allen has a passion for coaching and for helping people achieve their personal and professional goals. As a coach, Mark helps business owners and leaders understand and implement proven business concepts, strategy, and tactics which generate rapid Return on Investment. He provides a system with hands on support to develop effectiveness in key areas related to achieving this success. Mark has several approaches including One on One and Group Coaching, Topic Specific Training, and Behavioral & Financial Assessments.

Mark’s career includes a multitude of leadership roles. Such as: assignments in operations, marketing, production, facilities management, human resources, employee benefits, policy, communication and marketing. During his tenure, Mark assisted other executives through various formal and informal mentoring and coaching relationships, as well as directly supervised teams from 15 - 2,000 employees.

Speaker Bio

Vonciel M. English, also known to clients as “Coach V” is the Founder/CEO of Perfect English Development Solutions LLC, a faith-based consulting and development firm. As a respected Employment and Advancement Coach by occupation. Coach V helps people living in poverty overcome life’s struggles to maintain employment. As an entrepreneur, she operates in her divine calling as an Encouragement Coach and Development Consultant. She has an innate gift to inspire others and encourage them to discover their purpose.

Coach V earned her Masters of Human Resource Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and has over 20 years of experience in management, training, and development. Fun facts about Coach V, as a child she was the runner-up in the Little Miss Ohio Pageant and former Miss Central State University, Dayton while completing her undergraduate studies.

MICHAEL GOEKE

“Disconnect to Connect – How to Manage Technology Balance” 


It is important to leverage technology in our work as well as maintain a balance with how much we interact with the tools in the workplace.  Our goal is to introduce behaviors and processes creating better work-life balance (or integration) which allows people more time to focus on relationships as well as other things that offer meaning and well-being.  This workshop will introduce some of our Working Sm@rt concepts to help participants implement skills to be:

  • more proactive vs. reactive 
  • more focus on the
    • right things,
    • at the right time,
    • for the right reason. 

Ultimately, these skills will save time, increase productivity and allow individuals to focus on relationships. 

This presentation will actively engage participants utilizing handouts, breakout groups and video content.

 Speaker Bio

Michael is the Managing Partner of Priority Management in Southwest Ohio and he is a part of a network of 50+ offices globally.  Priority Management provides training and development that helps others achieve more professionally and personally, introducing new work methods that save time, create efficiency and increase productivity.   

He has been a sales and business development professional for 25 years in local businesses as well as large national companies.  

Michael is active in the community as a member of the Volunteer Advisory Board at CityLink Center.  He is on the Board of Trustees for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society supporting fundraising. He is an avid supporter and original season ticket holder for FC Cincinnati and holds a position on the Fan Advisory Board.  Michael and Julie have been married for 18 years. They live in Madeira, OH.  As members of Crossroads Church they are grateful to be a part of a Christ centered mission to connect to their community. 


CHRIS MACKLIN

“The Journey to Leadership: Taking My Broken Mess and Turning it into a Leadership Message”

This presentation will highlight the importance of our individual journey. Chris will share some of his personal story and demonstrate how life experiences, good and bad can refine and reveal the leader within. He will challenge the group to consider how their journey has and can prepare them to lead.

Focus Points:

  • Ethical Leadership: decisions and behaviors based on core values.
  • Transformational Leadership: Take your mess and make it a message to inspire change and growth in others.
  • Foundational Leadership: Set the foundation, allowing your past to inform the present and refine the future, for you and those you lead.

 Speaker Bio

Chris Macklin received his Bachelor of Science with a major in Addictions Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Masters of Applied Social Science from Case Western Reserve University. Chris is currently employed at Easterseals Military & Veteran Services as Case Manager. Working in the Human Services profession has allowed Chris to capitalize on motivating and helping help others identify and reach their full potential to accomplish their goals. Chris has a passion for encouraging and motivating Veterans to overcome barriers of addiction and mental health issues faced by so many of us. His volunteer activities include being a member of the United Ways Champions of Change committee, The Ford Men of Courage, being active in his faith community, Corinthian Baptist Church and the Dayton RV Honor Flight. Chris and his wife Mia have a blended family of seven adult children and seven grandchildren.


DEB WELLS

“What is Your Roadmap?”

Not all roads lead where we aspire to go in life. However, there is one that always will. That road is “Personal Growth”.

Deb will be sharing personal stories and practical insights, which have enabled her to accomplish many of her dreams in life, both personally and professionally.

This presentation will highlight several laws of growth demonstrating how they work to propel us beyond, where our perceived limitations would prevent us from going.

 Speaker Bio

Deb has been a successful entrepreneur for the last 24 years serving as the consultant and marketing director for a thriving financial practice.

She has a bachelor’s degree in theology from Life Christian University. She has been involved in interdenominational ministry as a worship leader and speaker for 28 years. Deb has served on missions to India, Africa, Brazil and Mexico sharing her powerful personal story and ministering in song. She has been a speaker for Stonecroft Ministries International for the last 9 years.

Deb’s greatest passions in life are genuineness, transparency and a great love for God, family, and for people.


TYWAUNA WILSON

“Lights, Camera, Leadership! Leveraging Media to Establish Yourself as an Expert”

In a time of busyness and distractions, using innovative strategies to share your leadership message is essential. Leveraging media is a way to standout, get seen, and be heard.

Session Objectives

  • Participants will learn how to stand out and position themselves as a leadership authority
  • Participants will discover how to share their leadership message via print, radio, and video.
  • Participants will understand how to leverage social media for maximum leadership exposure

Speaker Bio

Tywauna Wilson is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, medical laboratory scientist, podcast host, and award-winning leadership maven. She has over 15 years of proven healthcare leadership experience with her most recent role serving as the System Chemistry Director at CompuNet Clinical Laboratories. Tywauna is also the Owner/Chief Leadership Consultant of Trendy Elite Coaching and Consulting where they provide leadership training and development needed to be successful in today’s workplace.

Tywauna holds a BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences from Kentucky State University and a MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is the host of “Leadership Tidbits with Coach Tee Wilson” podcast and Visionary Author of “Leadership Tidbits” (2019).

When she is not working, Tywauna enjoys spending time with family and friends, writing, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
