ARC's Empowerline Aging Forum: Fostering Health Equity in our Communities

Health equity means everyone has the chance to attain their full health potential and no one is disadvantaged due to social position or any other circumstance. This program will help attendees learn about health statuses for people in the Atlanta region and explore ways to create equity to create a better future by:

• Delving into the impact of health inequity
• Exploring challenges specific to different populations and the accumulated effects among the older population
• Examining the need for intervention and brainstorming ideas for change
