Emergency Planning (G235):

This course focuses on emergency operation plans,
the format and process to develop plans and evaluate the plan’s effectiveness.
Content includes the Comprehensive Planning Guide (CPG 101) and THIRA
(CPG 201)

In this course, participants will learn the tools and techniques to develop or
enhance an all-hazard emergency operations plan (EOP).
The following key topics are discussed:
• The Planning Process
• Format and Function
• Threat, Hazard Identification Risk Analysis (THIRA)
• Comprehensive Planning Guide (CPG 101)
• Planning Issues and Challenges
• Training and Exercises
