Egyptian Jewelry Design

Learn to use hammers, pliers and more to make some cool jewelry! Using simple jewelry tools and techniques, designs are created in Egyptian motifs and styles. Two simple bracelets in wire and sheet metal, a ring or two and a pendant. Students will have a wonderful time creating. Denise Ward is a jewelry designer for her business WardWorksArt. She creates fun, colorful and lightweight jewelry made with pleasure, wit, and so much color in her metal earrings, necklaces, and wildwires. Her work in metal and clay is inspired by the colors of artists and life, such as Gustav Klimt or the surfers at Ocean Beach. She shares her passion at local schools, community centers, and events. Denise knows that community, collaboration, kindness for strangers can all make all the difference to keep our world together.
