Eggplant Parmesan and Marinara Sauce

This cooking class is designed to help you master the technique of making Eggplant Parmesan from scratch! We begin with learning how to make marinara sauce using a variety of ingredients such as San Marzano tomatoes and wine to create it. While the sauce is simmering you will be hand breading and cooking up your eggplant. Once all the pieces are finished, you will build your Eggplant Parmesan. After your creation is done, it will be packed for you to bring home and bake!

Important Information

If planning on shopping, please arrive early to do so because the store may be closed after class. 

• Arrive 15 minutes before class, we begin promptly at set time.
• Please contact us about food allergy concerns before signing up for a class.
• Reservations for a group or individual are held with payment. 
• To book a private group (maximum 12 people) contact Amanda at Vince’s Gourmet Imports.
• You must be 21 or older to attend the wine pairing classes.
• Cancellations must be made prior to the close of business 2 weeks before the class .
• Customers may bring their own beverages to class. A bottle of water is provided.  
• Classes last up to 2 hours maximum.
• Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Classes include demonstrations as well as hands-on learning. All classes will be a practical application of what the staff member teaches. For our meal classes you will be able to enjoy the featured dish that you prepared. For the other classes you will leave with your finished product and instructions on how to complete the meal at home. Either way you will always receive a printed recipe to take home with you in addition to a 10% discount on any purchases made in the store on the day of the class. Cooking classes are available for private groups and we can create a special menu just for you. For children, Vince’s Gourmet Imports requires an adult to accompany and participate with them. 

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

• No refund or exchanges will be given on classes that are cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to a class. Vince’s Gourmet Imports will not refund for no‐shows (if a guest books a class reservation and does not show).  To cancel a registration booked through the website you will need to log back into the site to request a cancelation. • Any class reservation change must be made 2 weeks prior to the posted beginning of the class; otherwise it is considered a cancellation (see policy above). Vince’s Gourmet Imports will try to accommodate all date change requests without surcharge or penalty to the guest, but if the requested class is already sold out, waiting list status will be offered.

• Other Considerations:
  “Act of God” Cancellations: Vince’s Gourmet Imports will recognize any “Act of God” cancellations, like a snow storm (6” of snow or greater) forecasted within 12 hours, icy roads, fire, etc. In the event of such an occurrence, Vince’s Gourmet Imports will not refund the guest registration but the guest will receive full credit without penalty for a future class. Note: An “Act of God” is an event that directly and exclusively results from the occurrence of natural causes that could not have been prevented by the exercise of foresight or caution; an inevitable accident.

• Vince’s Gourmet Imports reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract sufficient enrollment, or due to operational issues. We will contact you by email or phone and issued a full refund.
