Eden Prairie Fire Department Golf Tournament

More than one million people in the United States get cancer each year. And according to recent studies, firefighters have over a 60% chance of being diagnosed with cancer. Because cancer continues to affect so many people, the Eden Prairie Fire Department is committed to help raise funds that will be used to fight cancer and raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and treatment.

By partnering with the American Cancer Society, the Eden Prairie Fire Department is contributing directly toward research to find the causes and cures of cancers. The American Cancer Society has assisted with almost every major cancer research breakthrough since 1946. They are also a resource for in-depth information about specific types of cancer, their risk factors and managing cancer treatment recovery.
