FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This event is family friendly the shop features some adorable vintage for toddlers and newborns. Keep in mind it is a walking tour and the weather changes are quite drastic! Our final destination does have a bathroom we can use but there are very limited options in NYC for public restrooms. I recommend to keep in mind when bringing younger children if this is a suitable activity for your little one that won't make them fussy. We spend the majority of our time together at one shop.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Nearest Public Transit is the M14A Bus at Avenue A and 5th Street a 2 minute walk to our meeting point or the L train at 1st Avenue which is a 9 minute walk

What can I bring into the event?

Definitely bring cash, the shop we will visit does except credit cards, however there is a $10 minimum and many places in the neighborhood especially food and drink are either cash only or require a card minimum

Bring a camera or smartphone device if you wish to take photos, lot's of great scenery and iconic street art/ grafitti around.

Have a metro-card with a balance handy if you will be using public transit especially if taking the bus there is no place to add money to your card when getting on the bus nearby. The train stations have machines available to re-fill make sure to do this before you come.
