The Lincoln Park Conservancy is a nonprofit that partners with the Chicago Park District to identify, preserve, and enhance the natural, historical, and cultural assets Lincoln Park.

We will host our 18th Annual Earth Day at North Pond Nature Sanctuary on April 21st and, for the first time, have afternoon volunteer opportunities for those volunteers that cannot make the morning shift. Our main event will start at 10am and run until 12pm, but we will also host an additional session from 12:30pm to 2:30pm for anyone that couldn't make the 10am spot or if we reach capacity. Contact Aaron (info below) if you plan on attending the afternoon session. We will have refreshments available first come first serve.

Tasks to be done will include: park cleanup, mulching around park trees, painting park benches and fences, planting and seeding native wildflowers and grasses, and more! Please plan for the weather (it's rain or shine) and wear closed toed-shoes and full-length pants.

If you are planning to bring a group, minors, the event reaches capacity, or want to attend the afternoon shift, please contact Aaron Hammond at (773) 883-PARK or ahammond@lincolnparkconservancy.org to coordinate.

Register to volunteer at Lincoln Park!
