Every weekend, the DIA offers FREE drop-in art-making projects for visitors of all ages. This weekend, stop by the DIA and create a ribbon baton, used in floor exercises for gymnastic and dance. You'll make a simple version using paper, ribbon and decorative tapes.

The Drop-In Workshop will be on the DIA North Lawn on Friday from 5 - 9 p.m., in conjunction with the Detroit City Dance Festival. From noon-5 p.m., the workshop will be held in the museum's art-making studio.

General admission to the DIA is always free for residents of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties!
