Join the Wilmington Symphonic Winds on February 25th as we welcome our new conductor, Dominic Talanca, with the second concert of the season, "Dare to Dream." We'll be exploring some of the dreams of our country with Bernstein's Inauguration of John F. Kennedy, Maslanka's California, Camphouse's A Movement for Rosa, and King's Barnum and Bailey's Favorite. In Man of La Mancha, we'll tilt at windmills, and then we'll take a journey to the heavens through Ticheli's majestic Symphony No. 2.
The Wilmington Symphonic Winds are an extraordinary regional ensemble of approximately sixty-five wind and percussion musicians assembled to become the area's first professional concert band.
