The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) will conduct hearings to receive comments from the public on revised draft amendments to its regulations and comprehensive plan to better provide for the planning, conservation, utilization, development, management and control of the basin’s water resources in connection with the hydraulic fracturing of shale and other hydrocarbon bearing formations to produce oil and gas.
Public Hearing No. 5 will be held on Feb. 22, 2018, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Lisa Scheller-Wayne Woodman Community Services Center,
All who have registered to attend by 5 p.m. January 26, 2018 will be contacted by DRBC prior to the hearing date and provided with an early opportunity to request speaking time. Registrants may also sign up to speak at the hearing and will be afforded an opportunity to speak if time allows.
NOTE: Elected government officials and/or their staff members intending to represent an elected government official on their behalf should identify themselves during this registration process.
