Drawing I: Short Form

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is excited to announce a partnership with The Contemporary Austin Art School! Drawing and watercolor classes will be taught in our McDermott Learning Center, a beautifully restored 19th-century carriage house nestled in the gardens. You can draw! Practice with a new drawing medium in each session of this course. Enjoy drawing success in the very first class. Throughout the course you will refine your technique while focusing on still-life and found objects in a supportive environment for beginners. With inspiring natural surroundings and new skills, you'll never want to leave your sketchpad at home again! This class is part of a 7-class series. Thursdays, July 18 -August 29, 10 a.m. -1 p.m. Registration is required and space is limited. Register $199 per person for seven sessions + $35 supply fee Members receive a discount on classes.
