Dr Sketchy's Figure Drawing with Nova Noire

This year, Dr. Sketchy’s Asbury Park is all about showcasing the wonderful, shiny talent the tri-state area has to offer. Each month we’ll be hosting a different performer who will not only pose for your figure drawing delights, but will also perform for you! So grab your pencils, sketchbooks, paints, and charcoals and mark your calendars, because this month we are featuring:
The singing femme fatale of The Corsettes, Nova Noire!
Nova Noire made her debut as the femme fatale of the caburlesque troupe The Corsettes in 2013, and she's been breaking hearts and taking names to add to her long list of ex-lovers ever since. Nobody knows where she's from, but everyone knows where to find her- on stages across New Jersey, covered in rhinestones, seducing the crowds.

Have dinner upstairs at Capitoline, then join us in the basement at 6:30 pm. We will provide three 45(ish)-minute rounds of sketching, with our model posing for various lengths of time. There will be short breaks in between rounds, where we’ll encourage you to share your favorite sketches with us and enjoy the performance. Please bring your own art supplies; we will have sketch pads and pencils available if necessary. One lucky artist selected by our model will win a grand prize package of art supplies at the end of the night.
Admission is $10 at the door for a seat (sketchers and non-sketchers alike). We take cash and credit, and there is an ATM for your convenience. Please note Asbury Park is street parking.
