OBJECTIVES

By attending this conference you will:

• Identify clinical/counseling tools designed to enhance the work you do with both the Victims and Perpetrators of Domestic Violence.
• Learn Self Defense Techniques designed to better your chances of fending off an attacker. Dress comfortably.
• Hear a Survivor of Domestic Violence tell her story
• Talk to a distinguished panel of experts who will provide information and resources (i.e. systemic challenges, ethical dilemmas, supports, etc...)

Note: We are aware abuse takes place within many cultures. This CEU event will only focus on the impact of domestic violence within the heterosexual community in western culture.

Are tickets refundable?

No. Registration tickets are not refundable.

If I can't make it to the conference is my registration transferrable?

No. Unfortunately your registration is not transferable.

What happens if there is a change in venue, date, time, speakers, etc.?

Please note venues, dates, times, speaker, etc are subject to change. If there is a change we will make every reasonable effort to inform you ASAP. As long as an alternate date, time, location is chosen no refunds will be issued. Within Your Reach Consulting Services, LLC and/or any affiliates are not responsible for any losses or expenses, financial or otherwise you may encounter as a result of changes made.

If it is determined the event will not be rescheduled, Within Your Reach Consulting Services, LLC will issue a refund to paid registrants for the amount paid for the ticket price only. Media including but not limited to any photographs, videotapes, CDs, DVDs, broadcast, telecast, podcast, webcast, recordings, motion pictures, commercial advertisement, promotion materials and/or any other record of this event can be use for any purpose whatsoever.

NEED TO KNOW... Coronavirus Update

Originally this conference was planned as a face-to-face. However, we have been closely monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control regarding the spread of the Coronavirus. During this challenging time, many of you have concerns about public interactions. Serving our community in a safe manner is critical to us. As a result we have implemented the following changes for our upcoming Human Trafficking Continuing Education Program scheduled for Friday, June 12, 2020.

We have received approval from the National Association of Social Workers of Georgia and Licensed Professional Counselors Association of GA to host this conference virtually via live stream. This means we will still be able to provide the services virtually, while only making a few changes on our end.

We are excited to say we will still host this event on Friday, June 12, 2020 VIRTUALLY!

Here are some changes you need to know regarding your Continuing Education Credits for this conference:

· This conference will now be identified as an Asynchronous Presentation. It will no longer be in-person.

· Unfortunately ETHICS can not be offered online / webinars. You will NOT receive Ethics hours for this event.

· Since you can not receive Ethics hours for this event the ethics hours will be converted to Core hours.

· Remember, the licensing board only allows 10 CE hours of online / webinars to be used to renew your license. This course is now considered online / webinar.

· For CPCS (new) up to 8 CE hours of online / webinars may be used to apply for the CPCS (again not Ethics)

· Up to 3 CE hours of online / webinars may be used to renew your CPCS
