DIY Block Printing Workshop

Block printing is a super fun and forgiving textile design process that is just as perfect for the experienced artist as the total newbie. During this 3 hour workshop, you'll get time to design, carve, mix paint, and print your own custom patterns onto fabric. You'll leave with your custom stamp, a fun printed take-away, and the skills to continue printing forever and ever. No need to worry about your art skills for this class as it's geared towards beginners and you can make it as advanced as you like. All materials will be provided. 

Instructor Bio: 

Danielle Broder is a San Francisco based illustrator and textile designer. She founded her company, "The Recoverie" in 2010 and focuses on designing custom handmade fabric patterns for interior design. She also teaches her block printing process in private classes in her home studio, as well as larger workshops all over the bay area. www.recoverie.com
