Understand and Own Your Personal Narrative for Courage, Authenticity, and Personal Growth.
Storytelling is at the core of human communication. It’s how we process thoughts, connect with each other, and understand the world. Our own self-images are built around the stories we tell ourselves, but these stories aren’t always accurate. By better understanding our own personal narratives we can take control of them to define who we are, how we show up in the world, and cultivate the confidence to share our story with others. These are the core skills of leadership, authenticity, courage, and interpersonal connection.
Discover Your Story is a workshop focused on helping you connect the pieces of your life that define your own personal story and bringing them to light. Many of our goals, dreams, and actions are defined by elements of our lives that are often so close to us that we don’t even see them. Through the exercises in this workshop, we’ll help you see the interconnected pieces of your life that define your story, and help you express them so you can begin to own and share your own narrative.
We'll go over:
This workshop will be especially valuable for impact and mission-driven individuals. Impact driven entrepreneurs will learn how to connect their story to their offering in a way that will emotional resonate with their audience. Visionaries will learn how to share their ideas in a way that will motivate and inspire. Individuals that struggle to find confidence in their story and self-expression will begin to see the value of their story and the strength that can be generated by owning it themselves.
The truth is, our stories have a lot of power and my holding onto them we not only cut ourselves off from the gift it can offer to other people that have similar experiences, but it also keeps us from connecting with others and even knowing our true selves. Without claiming the story for yourself, you give others the opportunity to claim it for you and put a label on you that’s not your own.
The hope is that by joining this workshop, participants will leave with a stronger understanding of themselves and their story, and the tools to begin sharing that story in the world, for whatever purpose that story serves. Discovering your story is a crucial first step towards brave leadership and being able to express yourself with more courage, authenticity, and strength.
This workshop can benefit individuals at all levels of growth, expression, and personal development. The tools learned here can be applied to both personal and professional endeavors.
