“Marketing:Why Audience is Important-WHO ARE WE TALKING TO? ”

12-1:30 Thursday June 27th

Devin Sardano is back!

When considering your business, the customer is usually the first and last thought, and rightfully so. All other decisions revolve around making your customer happy and keeping within a budget. You’ve heard the phase “You can’t be everything to everyone.” so the most important part of understanding your business, and its success, is knowing your audience. These are the bare bones of an audience. Everyone in the world has an answer to these questions. This is often the easiest information to find or invent. Who are your target customers? It may seem obvious. But, creating a primary and secondary target audience will teach you who you want to speak to, and how you want to speak to them to create a good impression quickly. It’s not enough to just tell people you’re out there. You need to tell the people who want to know you’re out there. Know your audience. Not only demographics (e.g. age, gender, household income), but behaviors and interests. What is your audience thinking about when they’re NOT thinking about your product?
