Detroit House of Pain Presents: MidSummer's Wet Dream

Its that time of year again, time to come crush a cup of wine while writhing naked in my secret garden in a celebration of sexual magic dedicated to all of the mythical creatures that must hide themselves from the muggle world on the day to day.... DHP's most legendary annual party returns on Saturday, August 18th, 2018. And this year, we are planning some particularly special exhibitions for our guests to experience.
In addition to guest's tribute providing participation in our door prize raffle, we offer a strolling dinner, non-alcoholic beverages provided at our bar with bottle service for your BYOB needs, and a show that is distinct from most of Detroit's debaucherous events. Garden playspace features spanking benches, cages, massage tables, saint andrews cross, spreader table, a wading pool, firepits, and our newly added seasonal medical room.

This year we are also doing things a bit differently than we have for previously years, so please read carefully to the end for these important details.
For starters, the gathering will be starting and ending earlier. Guests will want to arrive within the first hour of doors, as to not miss out on the living art, the musician's melodies, and ropeworks demo. Performance art will run until 10pm, with our contests and games taking place mid-show for some intermission crowd participation.
Capacity will be more limited this year. So anticipate tickets to sell out in advance.
Another change we are making this year, is that we will be providing tiered party participation with a VIP option for guests that are well vetted by DHP house members (e.g.. One must be a regular attendee of our past parties or must be someone we know well to be allowed this option).
What's the difference between general admission and VIP, you wonder?
*GENERAL ADMISSION:*
Guests are offered the strolling dinner, bottle service for their BYOB needs and non-alcoholic beverages at our outdoor bar. Guests are welcome to enjoy our outdoor amenities, participation in our door raffle and contests, and will be offered our spectacular performances by some of Metro-Detroit's most legendary performance artists. Not to mention, we will also have other special features, such as art installations, a photo booth, and interactive exhibitions. Hours of general admission are 6pm until 12am.
*VIP ADMISSION:*
In addition to everything we offer to our general admission guests, Only VIP guests will be allowed use of indoor amenities. VIP guests will also have their own bartender for bottle service inside, down in our pit of despair, so that they will not have the waiting period that comes with a large crowd. More importantly than the use of our play furniture and implements indoors, VIP guests will be welcome to stay after the main event until 3am. Ergo, VIP hours will run 6pm until 3am, with a Very Limited allowance for overnight reservations (VIP guests must reserve this option with me personally in advance). While still on the fence, we may also be offering a VIP brunch the following day - details still to be decided, so be sure to inquire if you hope to be one of our limited VIPs.
