Demystifying Public Speaking with Lara Hogan

Join us for a presentation and Q&A with Lara Hogan, Engineering Director at Etsy, based on her recent book Demystifying Public Speaking.

Lara will be joining us via video chat to walk through some of the ideas from her book. She’ll discuss a range of public speaking fears and teach tactics to address them so that you can feel more confident and equipped to step into the spotlight – whether it’s during team standups, giving a presentation to a client, or pitching your promotion to your boss. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.

We'll have an assortment of snacks & drinks on hand and parking is generally easy at American Tobacco Campus.

Parking Info: There is free visitor parking on the first levels of the North Parking Deck (305 W Pettigrew St) and South Parking Deck (705 Willard St) - from there it is a quick walk to our office at 9 Julian Carr Street. WillowTree is located inside Bay 9.
