As you may be aware, CUNY Central has transitioned to distance-learning for the rest of the semester and is cancelling all upcoming events on-campuses due to the Coronavirus situation. As such, it is with our deepest regret that we must announce the postponement of the 25th anniversary CUNY Law Review Symposium. This decision was out of our hands, but we understand CUNY Law’s decision and join their goal to keep our community as safe and healthy as possible amid changing circumstances. The safety of our communities are always first.
We are currently working with CUNY Law's administration to secure an alternative date for the symposium in the fall— most likely in September, and will communicate this information as soon as it becomes available to us. This fall, we still want to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of CUNY Law Review, while also bring attention to the important voting rights reforms that passed in N.Y. state, and the upcoming 2020 election.
CUNY Law Review is deeply sorry about not being able to execute the symposium as planned and for any unfulfilled expectations that this may cause. CUNY Law Review is very grateful for our honorees, panelists, moderators, sponsors, volunteers, and alumni who had graciously agreed to be part of CUNY Law Review's Symposium.
