Learn some of Mika’s most requested color techniques for dimensional brunettes and silky smooth blends. This class will cover placement, techniques, toning formulas, social media/photography, and effective ways to balayage with ease. Raquell will be demonstrating her 20 min balayage creating beautiful dimension with that always desired money piece!  Mika and Raquell will also be sharing their tips & tricks that will help you paint with ease and become more comfortable behind the paint brush!

There will be a Q&A session where you have the opportunity to ask any questions you would like as well!

About the educators:

Mika Rogerson is the winner of the 2017 OneShot Behind the Chair awards in the “hairpaint” category. Mika is a member of the Behind The Chair team and has marketing relationships with many popular hair care lines (Redken, Biolage, Lanza, Scruples, etc.).  Mika and her salon have worked backstage at the Miss North Carolina USA pageants for years as the official salon of the pageant. She was named one of Modern Salon’s Top 100 artists of 2017 and has also been featured on BehindtheChair.com, BTC University, Modern Salon magazine, Masters of Balayage, Best of Balayage and Allure Magazine.

Raquel Nicole is a balayage specialist and has been nominated for the OneShot awards in 2017 and 2018. She is truly passionate about helping other colorists learn new techniques and set goals for themselves. Teaching and learning from other artist is what inspires her to fulfill her dreams.  She has been featured on BehindtheChair.com, Modern Salon, American Salon, Best of Balayage, Hand Painters and Masters of Balayage. She is a brand specialist for Brazilian Bond Builder and Truss Professionals and has also taught on stage for Best of Balayage in New York City in 2018.
