Trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis, known for his "technical excellence, inventive mind, and frequent touches of humor" (Leonard Feather), has performed with legendary jazz artists such as Art Blakey, Elvin Jones, Slide Hampton, and Max Roach, as well as touring with his own jazz group, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra. His latest release "The Last Southern Gentlemen" teams him with his father, piano patriarch Ellis Marsalis.
Tonight he presents his all-star sextet, featuring:
