Hear from Tarren Andrews, UC Boulder, and Maggie Williams, William Paterson University, on decolonizing the medieval.

As part of the Decolonization Now series, the Georgetown Department of English, the Global Medieval Studies Program, the Global Irish Studies Initiative will be hosting two talks during a lunchtime seminar:

“Towards an Indigenous Medieval Studies” with Tarren Andrews, PhD candidate at the University of Colorado, Boulder and

“"Celtic" Crosses, Whiteness, and the Process of Allyship” with Dr. Maggie Williams, associate professor at William Paterson University

Jonathan Hsy, George Washington University, will serve as respondent.

Lunch and other refreshments will be provided. We hope to see you there!
