December Girl Scout Troop Experience

Hi Girl Scouts!  We welcome you to come and be a part of the Girl Scout Troop Experience at the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace.   

Girl Scout Troop Experience - Cost:  $26.00 per person

This 3.5 hour experience includes a tour of the Birthplace, an activity session*, a Girl Scouts' Own, and shopping in the Birthplace store.

Minimum of 8 participants (majority girls and at least 1 adult) 

Groups of any size may be divided

Appropriate for Girl Scout Junior – Girl Scout Ambassador

Activity Session Choices:

Be True to Your Selfie - Your troop will experience Daisy’s childhood home, play her favorite games, and look closely at how she challenged expectations for women in her day to become a confident leader. Daisy found meaning for her life in creating art, and she shared this passion with her Girl Scouts. As you explore Daisy’s life, you’ll also consider your own, and make an “inner selfie” collage to show the world how you want to be seen. (Help us use resources wisely. Bring one plastic shopping bag per person for taking artwork home.)

She's Got Game - Juliette "Daisy" Low made sure that “real FUN” was an important part of early Girl Scouting from the beginning. Carry on this Girl Scout tradition! Have fun and hack your fears while playing energetic, confidence-boosting games with other girls! (This is an active session. Participants should wear clothes that allow them to be comfortable for lots of movement. Flip flops are not recommended.)

*Activity sessions are assigned on a first come, first served basis*

Program Payment Policies & Procedures:

v  Prices are subject to change

v  50% of program fees are due now {NOTE: Price shown reflect 50% of each ticket price)

v  Balance due upon arrival 

v  Contact us to adjust the number of participants no later than 30 days prior to visit

v  Minimum of 8 participants required 

v  Total number of paid participants must include all adults (leaders, chaperones, parents, etc.)

v  Adult numbers limited to number of girls participating (adult participants cannot exceed number of girls participating)

v  Groups of any size may be divided

Cancellation & Refund Policy

v  Minimum 60 days notice of cancellation, 100% deposit refunded

v  30 days notice of cancellation, 50% deposit refunded

v  Girl Scouts regrets that it cannot issue a refund for any cancellation with less than 30 days notice.
