Sometimes it is necessary to interact with people who are not easy to talk with- people who are aggressive, inconsiderate, rude or all-knowing. This is difficult for anyone, but especially when we start experiencing even small deficits in hearing, vision, and mobility. This workshop will explore and teach you how to communicate effectively with difficult individuals while reducing your own frustration and emotional reactions. Opportunities for role-playing demonstrations will be provided for those who would like to practice new skills.
Space is limited to 30 participants.
Instructor: Janet Wolfe, PhD
Please Note: There are no refunds or credits for one-time workshops should you decide not to attend.
