"DEADBEAT" the play by Tara Bailey

"Deadbeat" is a dark comedy short story written by Tara Bailey performed by acclaimed actor Wali Jamal Abdallah and directed by the esteemed Kim El.

The synopsis. James, a self-confessed Deadbeat Dad, tells the story of his diabolical ways of ruining the lives of seven women. He speaks in first person as he recounts each woman and their weaknesses. He preys on their fears of being alone and could care less about his children. He uses physical, verbal, mental and financial abuse to manipulate these women because they've allowed him to. The audience will die of laughter and hate James at the same time. They will  also see themselves in these characters as James reveals how much of a Devil he is.
