DC: LGBTQ+ Speed Friending

Looking to make more friends in the LGBTQ+ community? Trying to meet people outside the bar scene? Or have you recently moved to DC? Then come take part in our upcoming ‘Speed Friending’ event, hosted by Go Gay DC!
Based on the popular ‘speed dating’ format, ‘Speed Friending’ is a social event where attendees are paired-up with strangers for multiple rounds of platonic conversations. There will be approx. 10 structured rounds (5 minutes each) where participants will be randomly paired-up with each other across a table. Using ‘conversation starters’, both participants will engage in friendly discussion about a wide range of topics. And once they hear the bell ring, participants on one side of the table will get up and ‘rotate’ to the next seat.
Attendance is free and guests will have access to a full hotel bar (to purchase snacks and libations), and we encourage you to register your attendance in advance!
