L.A. in a Day - Trip (by Train) 7am-7pm Sunday 4/21/2019, limited to 7 attendees

If you like variety, follow me to an L.A. experience that will challenge your senses – not your purse. The walking exercise on this day trip approximates six miles: artsy, colorful experience.

Please bring: Water, hat, sunscreen, a couple $ for lunch and ice-cream etc. Camera.
We will arrive at L.A. Union Station, itself a very interesting historical building. Other areas we will visit:
Olvera Market; Post-mod architecture with the imposing Walt Disney Concert Hall. MOCA the only museum in Los Angeles devoted exclusively to contemporary art, with over 6800 works. The Watercourt’s - we will take our time enjoy the fountain and water-jet display. Worth a stop and reflection.

Lunchtime: at the Grand Central Market, a different experience for sure. L.A.'s largest and oldest public market. Rest your feet!
Murals, Little Tokyo and back to Union Station, sights include the Japanese American National
Museum and the Koyasan Buddhist Temple. Plenty of photo ops await.
