Dave Dickey Big Band with special guests Lindbergh HS Jazz Ensemble

The Dave Dickey Big Band is an 18 piece Jazz Big Band featuring musicians and music educators from St Louis, Edwardsville, Columbia, Springfield, and Champaign-Urbana. This will be the band’s first performance at the beautiful Grandel Theatre in the Grand Center Arts area (St Louis). The Grandel Theatre is a 600-capacity, world-class performing arts venue operated by the Kranzberg Arts Foundation. We are excited that night to have Lindbergh High School Jazz Ensemble under the direction of David Wyss as our guests! The evening will start at 5 PM in The Dark Room (lobby of the Grandel Theatre) with the Lindbergh HS Jazz combo performing from 5-5:45. The kitchen and bar will be open for listeners to sit and eat while they listen to the high school combo. The last set will be the Dave Dickey Big Band with several of the Lindbergh students sitting in with the band.
