One in ten children will be sexually abused before the age of 18. Six out of ten times they never report the abuse, because nine times out of ten, they’re abused by someone they know, love, or trust. Stewards of Children® is a two hour facilitator led training which teaches adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibility to child sexual abuse. As adults, we have a moral responsibility to speak up for children who may be suffering from abuse - and to do so, we need to be equipped to recognize the abuse and know how to appropriately react and report when we know or suspect abuse is happening. This training, provided for free by the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children, helps all adults to keep the kids in their lives safe from abuse.
