Dance Africa 2018 "It's All In the Family"

The Legacy Arts Project (LAP) presents Dance Africa 2018 "It's All In the Family."

The event takes place July 20-22, at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, located at 5941 Penn Ave.

Dance Africa: Pittsburgh celebrates community with this year’s theme “It’s All in the Family.” Hosting renowned ensembles from Pittsburgh and beyond, in two different programs of the music and dance of West Africa and the Caribbean. – Also featuring several dance workshops at Alloy Studios. Space is limited, so register now!
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: Saturday, July 21, 2018
10:00 - 11:30am / Central African Dance w/ Aza
12:00 - 1:30pm / Hip Hop w/ Illstye and Peace Productions
2:00p - 3:30pm / African Drum & Dance w/ Djapo Cultural Institute
