Mitchell Danton, ACE graduated magna cum laude from the USC School of Cinema-Television in 1990. Since then he has edited over 200 hours of primetime television. His credits include Beverly Hills 90210, Dawson's Creek, and the Peabody Award-winning drama series Switched at Birth. He earned four Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on the hit reality show Survivor, and was a member of the Emmy- and Eddie-winning team of editors on the ABC miniseries The Path to 9/11. Mitch has written for various film and television industry publications. In 2011, he co-authored his mother's Hollywood memoir The Lucky Southern Star and is the author of the film editing book Cutting It in Hollywood, which was published in 2015.

Zene is currently editing 20th Century Fox’s as yet UNTITLED MOTHER/DAUGHTER ACTION-COMEDY (with Melissa Bretherton) for director Jonathan Levine, starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn.
In November, Zene will be joining in to co-edit Marvel’s THOR: RAGNAROK (with Joel Negron) for director Taika Waititi. Most recently, Zene completed co-editing the Universal Pictures’ comedy, NEIGHBORS 2: SORORITY RISING (with Michael Webber), for director Nicholas Stoller. Prior to that, Zene is known for editing Sony Pictures’ THE NIGHT BEFORE, again with director Jonathan Levine; Sony Pictures’ infamous THE INTERVIEW, with directors Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg; Universal Studios’ original NEIGHBORS, again with director Nicholas Stoller; THIS IS THE END, yet again with directors Rogen & Goldberg; and finally 50 / 50, Zene’s original collaboration with director Jonathan Levine.
With 16 years in the film industry, Zene has edited over 20 feature films, starting in the very beginning by establishing a solid foundation in the indie film world with David Gordon Green’s first three award-winning films: GEORGE WASHINGTON, ALL THE REAL GIRLS, and UNDERTOW; and then subsequently with director Jody Hill on his first two films: THE FOOT FIST WAY and OBSERVE & REPORT. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Zene attended the University of North Carolina School of Filmmaking, based in Winston-Salem, where he earned a BFA. Zene is also a happy member of American Cinema Editors.

PAUL KARASICK – EDITOR
Paul Karasick has been a professional editor for television and film for 20 years, having cut a variety of drama, action and comedy series. Unique career achievements include cutting 14 television pilots (so far) for award winning director, David Nutter. Successful pilots include Supernatural, The Mentalist, Arrow, Flash, and in 2008 his Emmy nominated work for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Most recently, he cut the pilot and series for CW’s Containment, which aired in 2016. In addition to pilots, Paul has edited such acclaimed drama series as The Good Wife, Everwood, and Once and Again, where he stayed on for three years and considered the experience his unofficial “grad school” in TV production learning from a talented, inspiring team. Paul also had the experience of cutting film projects on location in London, San Francisco and New York.
Paul graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a degree in Visual Arts. He grew up in Los Angeles, and when not sitting in a dark cutting room, he enjoys backpacking and outdoor adventures throughout California.
Editor, Nena Hsu Erb ( nominated for Project Greenlight)
Nena Erb is an editor working and living in Los Angeles. She started her editorial career 15 years ago working on Emmy Award winning reality shows such as Top Chef and Dancing With The Stars, documentary series such as Case Closed: The Case of JonBenét, and Cold Justice. Nena crossed over to scripted genre working on feature films such as Dealin’ With Idiots directed by Jeff Garlin and Justin Bieber’s Believe. Since then she has collaborated with Kevin Hart on his directorial debut on the hit comedy series, Real Husbands of Hollywood, and HBO’s Project Greenlight where she received her first Emmy Nomination and win.
