Moosh hopes to capture the indelible qualities and nuances in Persian culture, as we curate thoughtful, communal experiences which immerse guests through food, music and art within our food programs. Through the supporting partnerships of our community, friends and guests, we hope to create a greater awareness in America of the diversity in culture, hospitality, and hopefully - humanity as a whole.
Our tasting menu is inspired by every memory and every story that makes us feel human. These dishes, which are paired with natural and biodynamic wines, are an expression of our Chef Behzad Jamshidi’s Iranian background & our Sommelier Alissa Wilmina Diaz’s rich & diverse up bringing. They hope to inspire a perspective, into the identity of Persians, immigrants, and individuals who live through the nostalgia that our ingredients and dishes bring to us. Each course and wine is presented with a story, and elements of the dinner are intended to be immersive & communal. Our hope is that in sharing food in this way, we will affirm our guests that we do not need to be from the same place, or speak the same language, but through the course of spending a meal with us, you will realize that we all have our experiences, we all have the capacity to feel – and in that way, we are all the same.
