CREOLE LANGUAGE NeighborhoodLIFT Homebuyer Educational Seminar

This seminar will be conducted in Créole.

Since early 2012, NeighborWorks America has collaborated with the Wells Fargo Foundation and local nonprofit organizations on LIFT programs in more than 50 locations, benefitting more than 15,000 families. The LIFT programs offer:


• Down-payment assistance for qualified buyers
• 
Homebuyer and financial education to help buyers prepare for homeownership
• Events to showcase area homes for sale

If you attended the launch event on November 30 - December 1, 2018, and you were qualified for the LIFT downpayment assistance program, your next step to homeownership is to attend a homebuyer education class with Consumer Debt Counselors. This eight hour seminar will help you learn what you need to know including finding and financing a home, managing the financial responsibilities of homeownership, and more.
