Lean-Agile Strategy is a new approach that applies Agile thinking and principles to the strategic planning process. Historically companies have been challenged in connecting Strategy to Execution and most Agile frameworks today are focused predominantly on execution and deployment starting from the product backlog.
The Lean-Agile Strategy (LAS) creates the product backlog and a comprehensive view of the organization s operational capabilities. LAS the rationale for why it exists and further the order and sequence in which products are to be delivered. Lean-Agile Strategy is a hands-on approach to implementation.
This 30 minute presentation will focus on how Agile deployment practitioners can start to influence strategy in their organization, to remove organizational constraints and enable them, and their teams to dovetailing Agile Strategy with Agile deployment. LAS will provide you the tools, understanding and taxonomy required to engage at the C-suite in your respective organization.
Larry Cooper and Dan Murphy have been engaged in Agile practices and organization transformation for over 10 years. They have recently been asked to create a white paper on the topic for the Business Agility Institute, and have been asked to join the Institute s Editorial Council. In addition, they have recently created two on-line self study courses on the topic.
