The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties invites staff and board members of nonprofit organizations to attend a free training workshop titled, "Creating a Financial Framework for Your Nonprofit: Fiscal Policies and Procedures," presented by Kelly Mathews.

Registration and continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., presentation from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is required as seating is limited.

This workshop will discuss and review key financial policies and procedures and how they are developed and implemented. The presentation will also give attention to policies around fundraising activities, such as accepting gifts. 

The presentation will also include an update to The Foundation's grantmaking process and timelines.
