Infant Safety and CPR for New and Expecting Parents

Dr. Tim Porter from Modern Pediatrics will walk you through the basics of infant CPR and other newborn safety topics.

Dr. Tim Porter is a board certified pediatrician with Modern Pediatrics, Austin’s newest pediatrics practice.

Dr. Tim’s passion for empowering new and expecting parents through education led him to develop a newborn care curriculum in Chicago. He is expanding those efforts to the South Austin community, beginning with a new infant CPR and safety class in partnership with the Austin Area Birthing Center.

Dr. Tim’s class will detail the following:

• Infant safety and prevention
• Infant choking
• Infant CPR
