In 2018, women made history by running and winning at record-breaking rates - including women of color, young women and LGBTQ. Let’s hit a new P.R. (personal record in runner’s speak) and prove women running for office isn’t an anomaly, it’s the norm! Come celebrate the next wave of women running for office at the Courage to Run East Bay 5K!
Join Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf, Contra Costa County District Attorney Diana Becton, Alameda City Councilmember Malia Vella and civic believers with the courage to run for a morning of inspiration and community.
If running/walking isn’t your thing or you are unable, join us as a volunteer or cheerleader. There is something for everyone!
