33% of global businesses have no women in senior management roles (CxO roles), a number which hasn't changed since 2011. At this rate of change, women will not reach parity with men in senior roles until 2060. In the United States, across senior roles in 2016, 23% were held by women - the highest recorded level since 2007. We're not just disadvantaged when it comes to access to roles, the gender pay gap means women make about $.78 for every $1 a man in a similar role makes.
As a woman who's been the only female at the executive table several times in the last 5 companies, I decided it was time to do something to make a difference.
