Do you want to learn and grow skills that you can use to empower and positively impact your community?

Community Action Trainings (CAT) are an opportunity for those looking to begin, refresh, or expand their knowledge around community and grassroots organizing in a dynamic interactive and hands on space. We will be partnering with the Black Visions Collective. More info about them can be found at https://www.blackvisionsmn.org/ **This will be a BLACK ONLY Space**

We'll cover topics that'll help you gain skills, including:

• Person-to-person Outreach Skills
• How to Mobilize People to Take Action
• Grassroots Fundraising
• Approaches to Social Change
• Sharing Our Stories, Our People's History
• Developing Our Own Leaders
• Campaign Strategy

This is a high intensity, two day training, so participants are asked to commit to the full weekend. Food will be provided for the entire time! We'll be together for the following times:

• Friday July 19th from 4:30PM - 8:00 PM
• Saturday, July 20th from 9:00AM - 4:30PM
• Sunday, July 21st from 9:00AM - 4:30PM
