Yet civil discourse in America has become a rare commodity, as both Republicans and Democrats increasingly engage in polarizing rhetoric, driving the country further and further apart and fosters a climate of democratic disillusionment.
In light of the upcoming 2020 Presidential Election, which many predict will be highly contentious, the need for bipartisan efforts and civil discourse seems to be more pressing than ever.
