This afternoon’s concert features works by visiting composer Xi Wang as well as Frost’s student concerto competition winners. The program includes Wang’s Winter Blossom, a composition dedicated to the memory of her teacher, Pulitzer Prize winning Steven Stucky. The afternoon ends with Stucky’s adaptation of Henry Purcell’s Music for the Funeral of Queen Mary.
