Many students get caught up on the technical aspects of creating a photograph and often overlook the thing that is equally important...COMPOSITION

The first part of this class takes place in the classroom with a lecture on what makes good composition, what you should be looking for an some simple steps to follow to make sure you capture the best images possible.

In the field for the second part of the class we will explore the landscape and surrounding area and learn "how to see" what you should be looking for.  How to recognize shapes, patterns, texture, line and balance in your image. Learn how to find the best light, what makes a photo interesting and keeps the viewer engaged.
