At Relay For Life events teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground to raise funds for the fight against cancer. Events are up to 24 hours long, and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times. The event is an opportunity for communities to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much.
Relay For Life’s volunteer-driven model help make it the most successful fundraising event in the world. Even if you aren’t a night owl, there’s a place for you at a Relay For Life event.
Community on Tap will help as needed with logistics and registration.
