Community Healing Mass on Sundays

Join us for a Community Mass of Healing at 10:10 a.m. every Sunday. During this service, you may receive personalized prayers for healing along with anointing and laying on of hands. Anointing is an ancient Christain practice, one that dates back to the early days of the Christian faith. 

We neither promise nor expect miraculous healing through these rites. Rather they are a time to confess that some illnesses stem from our own fault, while others are beyond our control. Recognizing this we turn to God for the gifts of true healing and life. During the service, we recall that by laying hands upon the sick and anointing them, the disciples witnessed to the marvelous power and presence of God. We also pray that as we follow their example, we may experience Christ's unfailing love. Ane we pray that as we are outwardly anointed with this holy oil, so may our loving God give us the inward anointing of the Holy Spirit. Of God's bounty, may your suffering be relieved, and your spirit, mind, and body restored to grace and peace. We aks that all of us in the frailty of our flesh know God's healing and resurrecting power.
