Communication Workshop: Save the Best for Last--God's Intention for Sex

In partnership with Bright Hope Centers and the Allentown Hispanic SDA Church, Zero to Infinity will facilitate a 90-minute workshop for parents of teens and pre-teens at the Allentown Hispanic SDA Church at 1109 W. Linden Street, Allentown, PA 18102. Parents are welcome to attend. Kindly register them too! Translation to Spanish will be provided for parents if needed.

Workshop Description:

Life SMART (Sexual Maturity and Relationship Truths) for Youth Groups

This program provides teens with biblical truths and accurate medical information to help make informed decisions about sex, considering what God says about his intention for marriage.  The presentation includes Relationship Goal Setting, Healthy Boundaries, Refusal Skills, along with Sexual Risk Avoidance slides, discussion and activities.  

Abstinence as the best alternative for teens, and what God commands, is encouraged, and there is education about birth control and the failure rates of various products to prevent pregnancy and STI/D transmission.  The most common STI/D’s are explained, along with transmission, symptoms, and possible consequences of these infections and diseases.  We discuss forgiveness in Christ for past mistakes, but purity as God’s best for his children.
